Materials and methods: The research was carried out in the phytochemical laboratory of the Institute of
Traditional Medicine and Technology. The Juniperus Sabina L was collected from the area of the province
between August and September 2021, dried, and prepared according to standards. The taxonomy and
anatomical structure of the plant were determined by members, a taxonomist at the Botanical Garden of
Scientists of the Institute of Botany of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Phytochemical studies were
performed using thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and ultraviolet (UV) spectrophotometry.

Conclusions: Juniperus Sabina L contains mainly phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and coumarins.
